Dressed As A Girl

My original production Mod Freq has been snapped up and synced to a film! I recorded this track last year, with my own vocal and production but chose not to release it since it was recorded during a painful end to a long term relationship. But now I'm so pleased that the director of film decided to use the track and I was able let the fruits of my hard effort go to good use in their fabulous film! So far they've screened at the BFI festival and the Rio theater in London with more dates to announce soon. Its a brilliantly entertaining and relevatory "frock-documentary" with real life footage of London's Drag Artists. Expect colorful characters, dramarama and some surprising gritty, truly human, emotion.

I've done another mix!

This one is darker and more energetic than the last few, influenced by the Autumn mood, I'm an Halloween girl after all. It you like analogue funk-ridden tech-house this ones for you. Make It True

I did some vocals with Berkson & What on a track called "Make It True". It's got a lovely deep and acid sound to it and my own pitch shifted mantra tones. It's finally ready for release on the 26th of January 2015. It will be featured on Berkson & What's debut album "Keep Up Appearances" released via their own MODELMAKER Records Looking forward to announcing the next track we did hopefully later in the month too! And a brilliant remix package due out on Seth Troxler's label early next year!

House The House

I've been selected to be on of the judges in the London regional and final competitions! I'm really proud and honoured be involved in this charitable and positive event for young up and coming DJ's. This is something I would've loved to have had the opportunity to do when I was first starting out. The prizes are really amazing, and the experience will be good prep for some of the pressure pro DJ's have to face. The regional competition is tonight at Corsica Studios in South London. I’m reviewing now and getting prepared. I’ll be a clued up firm but fair judge. I'm really hoping there will be some girls competing too. Can't wait!

Heroes 2013

We're Back! And for me, not a moment too soon. January can be really kinda... meh, bleh. I've recharged, and I'm ready to kick off 2013 with a bag of considered tracks and some powerful, positive intensions for the year ahead. We Are Geisha

I'll be playing at Cargo in East London this coming Friday. This is a fairly new night run by DJ's Lottie and Suze Rosser. It's a night intent of showing off female talent and always seems to be hitting the right balance of experienced and up and coming names. There really are so many women turning their hands and hearts to this dark art and it's kind cool to celebrate this.

But you don't have to be lady to party. Everyone is welcome so get down there and show your support!

I'll be playing the closing set 1:30 to 3 am, and I'm expecting to go out in a Xmas Bash style.

The Last Heroes ( of the year ; )

Yes, it's the end of 2012 and the last heroes is upon, and we intend to go out with a boom! As you can see the line-up is massive, yet again. I'm playing the main room from 1 till 3am. ( which is a happy slot for me ; ) I'm home friday night right now sorting through tons of new fresh music to unleash. I feeling like the last set at heroes of 2012 needs to be well, a bit epic. Hope you can get down to join us! ✌

Live on BE-AT.TV

I did a Live set for Geisha on be-at.TV last week. If you haven't already, check out their awesome site.

I've only just seen the footage back myself, I always find it hard to watch myself! Although BE-AT had an great studio in the heart of Soho, it was about 2 degrees outside and the studio was roasting hot, even the fan which blew my hair in every which way couldn't even help! Nope, no hair and make-up crew on this set! Friends and fellow female DJ's Hanah Holland, Suze Rosser and Anna Wall were on before me and were in the studio drinking prosecco while I played, hence the bit of slient banter. It was a party set, in an awakwardly hot atmosphere, but hope you enjoy as much as I did!

Heroes Futuristic Birthday Ball

This Saturday is Heroes' 1st birthday since it's reincarnation at Egg lead by promoter Jim Warboy. I was made resident DJ in Dec 20011 and if you've been one of our regulars I think you'll agree that so much has evolved at the club, and the night, in just one year. I'll be playing a special birthday set in the main room from 1-3 and we will be joined by a truly wicked crew of guests to help commence into year two with style. Hot off the tours supporting Lana Del Rey and Azealia Banks Zebra Katz will be performing live. Since I've heard nothing but phenomenal reviews on his multi-media-art-infused performances, I'll be sure to catch this. Techno don,Oscar Mulero will be playing his updated deeper sounds after me in the main room. And we have my long time good friend and LDN DJ Heroine Hannah Holland joining us fresh from a NY tour and launching her new imprint, NativeCity last month. I've also heard there will be vodka jelly shots served throughout the night by painted ladies/boys while you can get 'em!

This will be a massive night. Get down there if you can.

Playing The Heroes

I'm really excited about is month's Heroes. The city is buzzing with olympc fever, and positioned to prove that I'm a true sportswoman in my game, I'll be playing the headline set from 2:30 to 4:30 in the middle room at Egg. Joining us in the downstairs room this month will be Greg Threshor and one of my personal faves, Reset Robot. Friday night will host Felix Da Housecat, for which you can buy special priced 'weekender' tickets. We have an influx of international visitors (like you haven't already noticed!) and with this line-up tix are sure to be selling fast. It's going to be a massive weekend. Hope to see you there!

I'll be playing in Geneva this Saturday the 9th @ 360〫Fever. I really don't know much about the club other than it's big and gay, two things I'm quite happy about ; ) And after having a very civilized and sober Jubilee weekend (I must be in the minority) I'm looking forward to some Swiss swish and a banging the beats for Queen and country!

For now anyways ; } ..........Yes, another night of Heroes is upon us. I'll be playing before Shadow Child from 12:30 to 2:30. Shadow Child is Dave Spoon's new guise. He has a pretty amazing discography behind him and his Rustic Chip/String Thing on Dirty Bird is currently, well, a bit of a massive hit. I'm really looking to this tonight, although it's normally a tough weekend for people to get out post bank holiday, it's the first sunny weekend we've had in aaaaages, and the much needed Vitamin D is raising spirits, hopefully the music will too ♥ ; }

Suara Showroom at Heroes

Super excited to be playing alongside KiNK this Saturday at Heroes, not to mention, Egg will be hosting a Suara 'Showrom' with label mates Uner and Coyu. I've been loving a lot of Suara records this year, not only for their beautifully illustrated cat cover-art, but for consistently releasing bassy-warm-groove-drenched-floor-filling-tech-house like 'Bubblegun' by Danny Serrano and WestBoy which is featured on my latest DJ Mix (below). 360〫Dubai

I'll be playing in Dubai this this Thursday the 22nd at 360° Bar. Set at the end of its very own pier, the heli-pad shaped outdoor venue has (hence the name!) panoramic views of Dubai’s coastline. Apparently this club has the most amazing views and you really feel like you're on a yacht in the ocean. I'm so exited, it's been so long since I've been somewhere tropical by the ocean, and playing an outdoor venue is always my fave : } ♥
